This Privacy Policy explains how Afilago collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our website, apps, and services. By using Afilago, you agree to the practices described here.

Account information: your name, email address, and phone number, managed through our authentication provider when you sign in or create an account.

Order and delivery information: the items you buy, your delivery address, and contact details needed to fulfil and track your orders.

Payment information: payments are handled by our payment partner, Paystack. We receive confirmation of a successful payment but do not collect or store your full card number.

Usage information: how you interact with the Platform — pages viewed, searches, and device or browser details — collected to improve the product and keep it secure.

We use your information to process and deliver your orders, provide customer support, keep your account and our Platform secure, prevent fraud, personalise your experience, and — where you have not opted out — send you service updates and relevant offers.

Sellers and delivery partners: we share the details needed to fulfil and deliver your order (for example your name, delivery address, and phone number) with the relevant seller and dispatch/delivery partner.

Service providers: we share limited information with the providers that help us run the Platform, including our payment processor (Paystack), authentication provider, hosting, and analytics providers, under agreements that require them to protect it.

Legal reasons: we may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Afilago, our users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information.

Card and Mobile Money payments are processed through Paystack's secure, PCI-compliant systems. Afilago never sees or stores your full card details.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly without them.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

You may access or update your account information at any time from your account settings. You can also ask us to correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing messages, by contacting us. We will respond in line with applicable Ghanaian data-protection law.

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your data and to respond quickly if an issue arises.

Afilago is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
